New Hotel Management Appointments For ONYX Hospitality Group
In a press release in August, ONYX Hospitality recently announced new hotel management and leadership appointments in their group across the Asia-Pacific region.
Under New Management
New Area General Manager for Malaysia Dean Rossilli is appointed to lead the opening of six hotels in the peninsula. Rossilli first joined ONYX after working with Pan Pacific Hotels Group. He had a 25-year long career before his new appointment.
In Thailand, Sanjeev Kapoor is set to manage some Bangkok hotel in Sukhumvit operating under ONYX. He is named General Manager of Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok, as well as Ekamai Gardens Bangkok. The Bangkok hotel in Sukhumvit is one of the many that offer a variety of services to many tourists in the busy city. He has worked with Oakwood as general manager before joining the ONYX team.
Porntip Pibarnwong and Sirilak Buahom are two new female leaders in the group holding hotel managerial positions. Pibarnwong will manage Amari Residences Bangkok, Chiva Bangkok Hotel, as well as Amp Am House. Before her appointment, she worked with Amari Watergate Bangkok as Director of Stales and Marketing.
Buanhom started as a Guest Relations Manager at Amari Watergate Bangkok, and received a promotion to hotel manager at Sukhothai Heritage Resort.
Joining the team at Amari Watergate Bangkok is Clinton Lovell. Before his appointment, he worked with Minor Hotels as General Manager for Anantara Seminyak Ball and Avani Atrium Bangkok. In addition, he has held positions at different branches of Accor Hotels in Siem Reap, Koh Samui, Pattaya, and Bangkok.
From his previous post at Koh Samui, General Manager Into Domaschke is set to manage OZO Pattaya that will open in two years’ time. He is also part of the task force of the pre-opening of the Amari Pattaya Ocean Tower in its early launch next year. His expertise in refurbishing and launching Amari Koh Samui also helped in the unveiling of the new Amari Pattaya Ocean Suites.
For Amari Vogue Krabi, Sanjiva Gautamadasa was appointed as General Manager. He held different leadership roles in Indonesia, Dubai, and Sri Lanka.
The Bangkok-based hospitality group operates 49 properties across eight countries. They have a lot of development plans in place for Malaysia, Australia, and Vietnam, hoping to reach 99 hotels by 2024.
